A dance film inspire by the poem “The conference of the birds”, from the poet Farid ud-Din Attar, that tells a story about Humanity thought a world, or society of birds.
This abstract reinterpretation walks on a philosophical journey around this society of birds, that in a certain point of their life’s, decided to have a leader, or, to discuss why they don`t have it.
Under a decay of values in every society, the urge to reflect about Humanity and their conflicts, trying to search a new meaning of life, assumes an important goal for this dance film, that speaks about freedom, love and beauty.

A`MAR, it is an Abstract dance film about love and separation, about feelings that usually happens within the world of amorous relationships. A subjective portrait that expresses the struggle of two bodies who want to merge and shape the form of their existence. Without face or identity, the dance film form, it´s about process and dualities that reside among the play of opposites, seeking balance in their common strength and in the power of adaptation that bodies cross among the journey of love. It seeks the projective space that bounds the limits of the body according to the logic of the dynamic´s of our unconscious world. Within the desire to touch in our unconscious, the film puts in question, in a very sublime way, how the Human been understand the meaning of love and how he deal´s with the separation itself.

“Kiss Me Lisbon”
Kiss me Lisbon it’s a dance short film inspired by Fernando Pessoa’s enticing poetic line “ Oh Lisbon, kiss me “. An audiovisual project that explores dance in the context of unlikely / surreal / emotional personal urban territory as a body of poetic narrative.
Cinematographically, the movie it`s like a visual poem, with a narrative discourse which is both sentimental and discontinuous and is built upon methods of improvisation and free association. The body of work, explores the individual feelings, desires, sensations and spontaneous ideas that each dancer / interpreter encounters and discovers during they’re private creative process based on they’re personal interaction with the city of Lisbon. Emotional feelings like the wellbeing that a city can provide to each one of us, the sensation of be left to go, the desire to make love with and in the city, to discover its mysteries, to flow in its bohemian river and to be fell blissfully lost in time and space, to feel the weight of its presence and history and ultimately to live and experience the city itself as a living being who loves, and breathes passion.
Kiss me Lisbon becomes a deep full unconscious movement, an allegoric tale focused on the energetic subtleties of a moment in movement and in ways of transmutation of this simultaneously collective and individual subjectivity.
A performance film that desires to express the synesthesia of a city in its cinematographic form.
